DARESCHOOL WINS YIPPEE!...

..so last night was the campaign big awards at the The Grosvenor Hotel, and the dareschool site/scheme won an award...

Alan Aldridge...

..so last night I went to the Design Museum on Londons southbank to go to the launch party for Alan Aldridges retrospective 'The Man With Kaleidoscope Eyes'. Hes worked for many a client, most famously the beatles, the stones, And Warhol and penguin books. A uni friend works for the design studio which curated the exhibition and did a marvellous job, was a cool night with lots of free champagne. It runs from the 10th October to January 25th.

Banners galore...

...so we were looking for a nice place to go for a beer and were sent this link by Lukey S...imagine our joy to find two dareschool banners on one page. Rob and Dips concept at the top and Ians built banner on the right.

YCN/This is studio/ Nike...

So I got an extended lunch last week to go and check out a free YCN orgainsed chat in conjunction with Nike and little design company this is studio. It was held at a nike pop up store in shoreditch and was a talk about the company and screenprinting. Was really cool and got lots of freebies....

Creative bowling.....

So the kind people of dare (and particular ta to Brooky B) decided everyone deserved a treat so took us bowling down the road, much crap bowling was done, much county under 16 standard bowling was done (Ash) and most importantly lots of free beer was drunk...

Dare school gets nomination!....

becks fusions, mixer, live studio...

So Dare won the Becks account back in march time and since then have been working on a variety of very interesting projects with them, ian worked on the initial logo designs (see older posts)for the becks fusions gigis in manchester feat. Massive attack and santogold amongst others, and the very good mixer.

Probably the highlight was the becks live studio in September....

The live studio was a unique online project by which a week long live video feed from studios in north London were on the Becks site, this consisted of YCN competition winners and various special guests creating artwork over 4 minute long tracks remixed by visitors to the Becks mixer.

...Dare create many a banner, vodafone seem to take over facebook and many other sites so it's good to see the concepts going live, heres one for samsung omnia, based on the idea 'everything in one touch'....
